US President Donald Trump is making a State visit to the UK starting today, Monday 3rd June and finishing on Wednesday 3rd.

A State Visit is perhaps the greatest honour our head of State, Her Majesty the Queen can bestow on any foreign head of State. The Queen usually receives one or two heads of state per year and has hosted 112 of these visits since becoming monarch in 1952. During the 3 day visit, President Trump will be only the 3rd US President to receive such an honour and he will get the pomp and pageantry that the UK does so well. The only two previous incumbents of the White House to receive this great honour were George W Bush and Barack Obama.

The visit isn’t just ceremonial, of course, as President Trump will also meet the Prime Minister Theresa May when political issues can also be covered. Presumably, her departure plans somewhat limit the scope of such discussions but perhaps he may meet his preferred successor to May, Boris Johnson? It is further reported that Downing Street spiked the idea of the President meeting Brexit Party Leader, Nigel Farage. If true, this shows the narrow spitefulness of Theresa May.

Given the USA is our oldest ally, given that President Trump has repeatedly expressed his desire to do a great Free Trade Deal with the UK post Brexit, given that this visit marks the 75th anniversary of D-Day landings, one would think he could be assured a warm welcome from all Brits of good will.

However, that excludes London Mayor Sadiq Khan, who has stated that the US President is not wanted. Here is a taste of his vitriol. Speaking of Trump he whines

“Praising the “very fine people on both sides” when torch-wielding white supremacists and antisemites marched through the streets clashing with anti-racist campaigners. Threatening to veto a ban on the use of rape as a weapon of war. Setting an immigration policy that forcefully separates young children from their parents at the border. The deliberate use of xenophobia, racism and “otherness” as an electoral tactic. Introducing a travel ban to a number of predominately Muslim countries. Lying deliberately and repeatedly to the public.”

Of course, when you reflect on the content of what he says, it is Khan that is the bare-faced liar. it is Khan who has presided over the transformation of parts of London into a third world S-Hole. It is Khan who has sat back and directed 900 police officers to patrol Twitter for hurty tweets as the streets of the UK capital run red with the blood of murdered young (mostly black) people. Naturally, the feral left is joining in with street protests, thus increasing the pollution in London. Their big plan is to create lots of media noise and to that end, they have been granted permission (by Khan) to fly the utterly pathetic tiny “Trump balloon”

WE WANT TRUMP, THEY CAN HAVE KHAN

Gratuitous insults are all they have and we can be sure that the legacy media will hype these as much as possible. Remember, the UK media was incredulous when Trump beat their beloved Hillary Clinton in 2016 and they have been spiteful towards him ever since.

It doesn’t matter. The protests don’t matter. Media hate doesn’t matter.

All that really counts is the goodwill MANY British people will have towards the US President this week and his enduring support for our United Kingdom. Trump actively wants to see the UK leave the EU and that also enrages the Left and its media handlers.

The reality is that Trump is more pro-British than large swathes of the UK political and media class.

Bear that in mind during these next few historic days.
