BLACK DAY FOR UK RACE RELATIONS

AltNewsMedia provides an alternative to the fake news mainstream media narrative.

Imagine the scene inside the Number Ten Downing Street bunker.  After a week of unrelenting media attacks concerning the mishandling of the Windrush issue by Government and (unfounded) allegations of racism against the Prime Minister, the burning question is – what to do?

Policy wonk; “Let’s gain some good media headlines by having a National Commemoration of Stephen Lawrence, the black kid murdered back in 1993. We can announce it on the 25th anniversary of the killing”

Theresa May. “Brilliant idea – that should make me look so much more caring and in no way racist”

And so it is that today we read the news that PM Theresa May has announced an annual Stephen Lawrence Day is to be held each year on the anniversary of the teenager’s murder.

The prime minister made the announcement at a memorial service to mark the 25th anniversary of the hate crime that (sic) shocked the nation and led to the Metropolitan police being labelled as institutionally racist. Stephen Lawrence Day would be “an opportunity for young people to use their voices and should be embedded in our education and wider system regardless of the government of the day,” she added. The first Stephen Lawrence Day will be on 22 April 2019.

What the f*ck? Of course the murder of Stephen Lawrence was a tragedy – and one that we have never been allowed to forget. His Mother has been elevated to the House of Lords for reasons that we can but guess. But Stpehen wasn’t the only teenager murdered by racists, was he?

Let’s recap what happened to white teenager 15yr old Kriss Donald in Glasgow in 2004.

Kriss was snatched and beaten to death. He was dragged into a car by a gang of Pakistani lads for being white. They stabbed him 13 times and them poured  petrol over him, set him on fire and then left him to die.

The UK media has been mostly disinteresed in the pain that the Donald family suffered but then again that murder doesn’t follow the “institutional racism” narrative the fake news media relentlessly push out.

Kriss Donald is as worthy of a National Day of Commemoration as Stephen Lawrence in my opinion. So is murdered British soldier Lee Rigby. So are the thousands of people murdered by the IRA. So are the young black men murdered almost daily on the streets of London by other young black men.

Here’s a harsh dose of truth. The murder of Stephen Lawrence has become a cause celebre amongst the liberal elite because it allows them to virtue signal their caring and goodness whilst bashing the establishment for being “racist”. But when we see a young white teenager brutally murdered by “Asians” and the case ignored by Politicians and Media, nobody gives a damn. When it was a young White British Fusilier slaughtered by black Muslims on the streets of London, it is largely consigned to the media and political memory hole.

If this ill-considered Stephen Lawrence Day goes ahead, it will inflame race relations, not help them. The memory of all victims of murder should be afforded equal treatment regardless of skin colour but it seems that Theresa May wants to install a hierarchy of victimhood with black murder victims at the very pinnacle of it. That is wrong, it’s black and white.
